One of the greatest resources available for art collectors and sculptors is located five miles north
of Santa Fe, New
Mexico, in the village of Tesuque (te-soo-ke). Shidoni - a greeting to a friend in Navajo - is
an art gallery including 8
acres of sculpture gardens and bronze art foundry situated along the Rio Tesuque on a former apple orchard.
Visitors
have the opportunity to see the indoor art galleries which represent more than 140 artist from all over
the country. Stroll
the gallery and sculpture gardens. Watch 2000 degree molten bronze being poured into ceramic shell molds
during our
Saturday Pour Days open to the public.
If you are in search of quality art, an artist in need of the finest foundry services available, or
you want to learn about
the process involved in the creation of major works of art, then please come for a visit.
Hours of Operation:
Bronze Gallery:
Monday - Saturday, 9 am - 5pm
Arts Gallery:
Tuesday - Saturday, 9 am - 5pm
Sculpture Gardens:
Open during daylight hours, year round. The gates are locked at 5pm. Please park outside the gates
before 5pm.
Bronze Pour and Self-Guided Foundry Tour:
Saturdays at Noon, 1:45pm and 3pm. Fee: $5. Please arrive 15 minutes before.
Pour times may vary. Please call on Friday to confirm.
Foundry Tour:
Self-Guided Tour Monday - Friday, Noon - 1pm. Fee: $3.
