Alan Stirt


Enosburg Falls, Vermont / Brooklyn, New York

Born May 1946 in Brooklyn, NY, he has been a wood working instructor and simultaneous artist for over thirty years. Exhibited all over the world, he is part of many museum collections including the Arizona State University in Tempe, AZ; Fine Arts Museum of the South Mobile, AL; R.H. Fleming Museum Burlington, VT; High Museum of Art Atlanta, GA; White House Permanent Craft Collection Washington, DC; Renwick Gallery, Smithsonian Institution Washington, DC; Mint Museum Charlotte, NC; and Wood Turning Center in Philadelphia, PA.
